Overview
You've dialed in your amp, found a cab you love, and your guitar is already sounding great. Now imagine bringing out even more of that tone. More harmonic richness, longer-singing notes, better definition, and a little extra depth that makes everything feel bigger and more alive. That's what Afterburner is all about. Afterburner is designed to bring out the best in your existing guitar sound. Add some extra Body to make riffs feel fuller and more powerful, or bring up the Bite to give your playing more attack and presence. The Tight control helps keep the low end punchy and defined, while Fizz and Air let you fine-tune the top end for just the right balance of smoothness and clarity. Together, these controls give you plenty of ways to enhance the character of a tone you already love. There's more to a great guitar sound than just EQ. Afterburner can bring out extra harmonic depth and sustain, helping notes sing and giving your playing a richer, more satisfying feel. The Width and Room controls add another dimension, letting you open up the stereo image or introduce a natural sense of space around your guitar. Whether you're working with a high-gain amp sim, a crunchy rock tone, or a smooth, singing lead, Afterburner gives you a convenient way to take things a little further. Place it after your amp and cabinet simulation, dial in the enhancements you like, and hear how much more you can get from your favorite tones. Afterburner is a versatile guitar tone shaping VST plugin that makes a great addition to your recording setup. Available in VST3 format for Windows and VST3 and AU formats for macOS.

Controls
Controls low-end tightness and low-frequency behavior. Use it to pull excess looseness out of the bottom, clean up palm-muted parts, or add a little more weight when a tone feels too lean. The goal is a better low-end foundation that stays controlled.
Adds low-mid weight and fullness. This is useful when a guitar tone feels too scooped, too thin, or disconnected from the mix. Turn it up to bring back substance and support.
Brings forward attack, edge, and upper-mid cut. Use it to help riffs speak more clearly, push leads forward, or add definition when the tone feels buried.
Controls harsh upper content and hash. It is there to smooth out the brittle top end that can build up in distorted or amp-sim tones, while still letting the sound keep its energy.
Opens the top end and adds a sense of space and extension. Use it when a guitar feels closed in or a little too dark and needs more openness without becoming sharp.
Adjusts stereo spread. Lower settings keep things more centered and controlled, while higher settings help guitars feel larger and wider in the speakers.
Adds room ambience to help the tone feel less flat and more naturally placed. This works well when a guitar part needs a little depth or a sense of space around it.
Blends the processed signal with the original. Lower settings are useful when you only need a touch of finishing, while higher settings let Afterburner take on more of the shaping.
Sets the final output level. Use it to level-match and judge the tone change on sound instead of loudness.
